We the parishioners of St. Mary Catholic Church, a body of diverse individuals come
together as brothers and sisters in Christ in service to God, the Catholic Church, our
community and visitors.  We are each a unique child of God united through the stewardship
of our time, our talents and our continuous accountability to God and the shared
responsibility to each other, to the community and to the world through:
Worship: Celebrating the sacraments as a church family.
Education: Leading Catholics and non-Catholics alike in a growth of faith and welcoming
back those who have fallen away from faith.
Welcome: Shepherding parishioners and visitors to God's grace.
Ministry: Listening to the needs of the parish and community and responding with direct
action in relation to he teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
St. Mary Catholic Church welcomes ALL who search for Christ's
message of love, forgiveness and eternal life.

Our Mission Statement
New Saint Mary Family Life Center Plans
Parish Life Center Update - We have now submitted what we believe to be our finalized plans to the architect to produce the
drawings needed to construct the center. On Jan 14th the combined meeting of the Parish Council, Finance Board, and Executive,
Building and Fund Raising Committees all agreed to press forward with the paperwork. The large trees in the St. Mary Grotto
have now been removed and plans are being put forward for the new Grotto. We continue the process established by the Diocese of Knoxville.
Parish Life Center Grant
We’re over halfway to the new matching grant of up to $50,000 to help finance the new parish Life
Center on collections made between 1 December and 30 April.
